In my opinion Judas did not have to betray Jesus Christ, as Judas had a free choice, and committed suicide. In my opinion Judas thought that it was to late to ask for forgiveness, and it certainly was after he had committed suicide.
In my opinion Jesus Christ wanted Judas to ask for forgiveness and believe that he is the only Son of God.
In my opinion God created a perfect World but Humans disobey God. As a consequence the Earth now produces thorns and thistles. The whole Earth was flooded which explains why Scientists think the World is older than the Bible indicates. God still provides Oxygen and the Sun.
What does time matter to God? except for specific times of judgement.
